We have an opportunity for a fluent French speaker to work at Le Château du Broutel as Centre Manager from March 2009.

Le Château is a beautiful historic building set in over 40 acres of grounds on the edge of the small town of Rue in Northern France. It is owned and managed by Manor Adventure, Shropshire, UK. We provide a range of residential educational courses for British schools and families covering Adventurous Outdoor Activities, WW1 Battlefield Tours, French Experience and French Language Modules.

The role of Centre Manager will involve all aspects of the management of this busy centre co-ordinating the business within the French environment. The staff team of 40 is made up of English speaking instructors, French catering, domestic and maintenance staff and a mix of French and English administration staff. Excellent management and customer service skills are essential.

Applicants must be fluent French speakers, preferably with experience of working in a management role for a UK company in France within the Adventure Centre/Holiday industry.

We offer a salary of circa £24,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience with 28 days paid holiday per annum, Accommodation is provided in a two bedroom detached cottage within the grounds of the Château. All meals are provided free of charge. Travel to and from France is subsidised.
