Catering Manager Profile

Purpose of the Job: To develop and manage the day-to-day running of the Catering Department ensuring high operational standards at all times.
Duties of the Job: To provide 3 nutrient balanced meals a day with plenty of choice and to be able to cater for special diets all within a specified budget. To manage, develop and motivate the catering team also ensuring their Welfare and Health & Safety. Ensure that all members of the department provide a quality friendly service to all customers and all staff.
Responsible to: Managing Director / Head of Centre
Days of work: 6 days per week
What we are looking for: An experienced caterer able to manage and operate a kitchen to provide up to 1200 meals a day. To be a good man-manager who takes pride in the food served to our customers. To have a good knowledge of all Health & Safety issues including Food Hygiene, Environmental Health Regulations, Employment Law and all other legislation.
