Salary:
£14,000 + Live in option which includes free food and accommodation after successful completion of a three month probation period.
Responsible to:
Catering Manager
Days of work:
6 days per week
Purpose of the Job:
To produce up to 1,200 meals per day.
Duties of the Job:
- Preparing and cooking to set menus
- Assisting the Catering Manager in the efficient running of the department
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Supervising a team of catering assistances
- Catering for special dietary needs
What we are looking for:
Committed Chefs who have the ability to produce high quality food in a professional and friendly kitchen environment. Experience within a similar role is certainly an advantage but we would also be pleased to hear from applicants who enjoy, and have experience of cooking.
A Good knowledge of Food Hygiene and Health & Safety is necessary and we also provide excellent induction and training to aid your professional development. Unlike most Chef jobs you will not work split shifts at Manor Adventure. Even on a late shift you will usually be finished by 7.30pm.
