Activity Centre Jobs in France
So where is our French activity centre, le Château du Broutel? Le Château du Broutel was built in 1714 and is located in 40 acres of beautiful parkland scenery. Located on the outskirts of the historical town of Rue, a small rural town situated between Le Touquet and Abbeville near the Picardy beaches, there is a wealth of historic and cultural attractions locally, catering for every possible taste and interest.
Why apply to work at our French activity centre?
Staff at Le Château du Broutel work in an exciting and stimulating environment, delivering multi activity sessions to UK school groups and families. They benefit significantly from a close working relationship with the centre's Activities Manager who coaches the staff closely and keeps them focused on delivering quality sessions. Working in France would give you the opportunity to become an integral part of a closely-knit team.
Who would be suited to working at Le Château du Broutel?
As at all of our activity centres there is no defined level of experience that someone needs to work in France. We look for people with the right attitude as well as a desire to learn. If you are a nice person who wants to develop the personalities and confidence of others, as well as your own, then we can teach the skills you will need to carry out your job to a high standard.
You do not have to be able to speak French to apply to work in France so do not be put off if you are unable to speak the language. However, we do offer French language programmes at the activity centre, which are structured around the clear aim of developing the French language and listening skills of our guests. To achieve this we regularly recruit graduates and those that have undertaken languages orientated teacher training. If you do have French language skills the Château could be the ideal place for you and we would be delighted to hear from you.
What do we look for in our Instructors?

- Understanding of each situation as it arises
- Awareness of medical and dietary requirements
