My Job: Is bizarre I spend most of my time encouraging kids to do something they really want to do, but are too scared. You spend all day with children so you learn a lot about how to talk to them and ways to help them achieve their goals.
My Aspirations: Is to be a secondary school PE teacher, and I am here to gain experience and confidence. The experience I have gained here is incomparable to anything else I have ever experienced.
Typical Day: Doesn’t exist! Every day is different but always consists of getting up at 8.30am, some sessions, lunch, more sessions, dinner and more sessions. Every day is different but I definitely wouldn’t describe the days here as normal.
Best Memories: There are to many to choose from- singing in the trees, staff room banter, staff training, Sefton, family holidays and going on holiday with the girls from work, MANOR ADVENTURE ON TOUR IN TURKEY!.
Why work for Manor Adventure: To meet great people you’ll stay friends with, to gain experience with kids and in the outdoor industry to gain confidence and independence. You should work here because you love working with children and the job.
