Multi Activity Instructors
11 month contract
this isn't a part time vacancy. If you are looking for a more permanent post, approximately 45% of our annual staff are retained for the following year. If you are a good instructor you can develop with our support.
Salary
we offer £11,750 per annum if you are aged 18-20, or £14,400 per annum if you are aged 21 and above. Regardless of your age you are all managed and treated equally with the same respect.
Accommodation & Food
All of our multi activity instructors live on site at our centres and we provide three hot meals per day. This means you are living, working and socialising with lots of similar like minded people.
Holidays
28 days paid leave pro-rata.
Training
You will receive comprehensive training in all necessary aspects for you to provide safe, fun and challenging activity sessions. The training never stops; you are always learning something new to keep mentally and physically astute. This is extremely rewarding work especially when you encourage children to overcome their fears, develop an inner confidence and a sense of achievement.

NGB Qualifications
During your time with us, you have the opportunity to gain up to 5 National Governing Body qualifications to further your qualifications. These include:
British Canoe Union UKCC level 1 Kayaking & Canoeing
National Small-bore Rifle Association (YPS Instructor - Age 21 and over)
Grand National Archery Association Leader Award
British Fencing Association Teaching Award
Mountain Leader Training and SPAT
Fire Marshall Award
First Aid Certificate
Our Activities
With the diversity of activities throughout all our centres you will never have the same day twice. Our activity sessions include: Maze (artificial caving), High Ropes, Confidence Course, Zip Wire, Kayaking, Canoeing, Raft Building, Crate Stacking, Disco, Rifle Shooting, Orienteering, Archery, Rock Climbing, Indoor Climbing, Abseiling, Hill Walking, Evening Walk, Blind Trail, BMX Bikes, Camp Craft, Nature Walks, Obstacle Course, Initiative Exercises, Water Polo, Swimming, Compass Work, Fencing, Film Studies, Team Games, Wide Games, Survival skills, Mini Olympics, Educational Visits, Overnight Camp and Quiz.
