We get hundreds of applications and the recruitment team assesses each one carefully to make sure we allocate the places on our selection weekends appropriately. We aim to process your application form within 10 days of receiving it. If you are chosen to come along to one of our selection weekends you will be invited by email or by phone if you haven’t given us an email address.
The weekend is designed to be informal, relaxed and enjoyable. However, it is also challenging. We consider your suitability for the role of a Multi Activity Instructor within the company. We assess your aptitude, enthusiasm, safety awareness, potential to respond to training and ability to live and work as part of a team. It isn’t a physical fitness test, all the activities are well within the abilities of the average person.
Selection is a two way process, it gives us a chance to get to know you and gives you a chance to get to know our company and the way our Centres run. If you are offered a job we feel that you should know enough about us to decide whether a job in our Company is right for you.
You are responsible for the cost of your travel to and from the centre for selection weekend. All food, accommodation, and technical equipment will be supplied during the weekend but you may wish to bring some money for socialising on the Saturday evening.
If you demonstrate that you have the potential to succeed as a Multi Activity Instructor we will offer you a job and invite you to the evaluation week which takes place late December or early January. The evaluation week includes ice breaking and teambuilding sessions to give you the chance to further demonstrate your abilities and to work alongside future colleagues and Centre Management. Once you have successfully completed the evaluation week, received a satisfactory enhanced CRB check and two references satisfactory to the company your job is secure.
Contracts will run from January to November 2010
