Purpose of Job:
To manage, train and motivate a team of 10 instructors.
What we are looking for:
Good all round Instructors committed to maintaining the centre’s high standards by leading and instilling enthusiasm in a team of Instructors. Ability to deal with a variety of situations in a calm controlled manner.
Duties of Job:
Our Senior Instructors are usually people who have proved their abilities as an Instructor and gained promotion within the company. In addition to instructing the Senior Instructor’s role is an important link between the Centre management and the Instructor teams. You will form a close bond with your team of nine Instructors, monitoring their progress throughout their training, and supporting them in their day to day work. You are responsible for a school during the arrivals process, while your instructor team works with the children you take the teachers on a tour of the site and make sure they have all the information they need to get their stay off to a good start. Senior Instructors take it in turns to be the Duty Manager, this involves liaising with Management, Administrators, Duty Instructors and Teachers to ensure a good flow of communication throughout the day.
You will also be responsible for carrying out routine equipment and activity based safety checks on a weekly basis.
