Manor Adventure are an industry leading residential outdoor activity provider. We have been able to become an Employer of Choice through our focus on the quality of the educational sessions we offer, as well as our commitment to the training and development of our staff. We are now seeking a Training Manager/Internal Technical Advisor to assist each Centre's Head of Centre and Activity Manager with regard to the maintenance of their Instructional staff.
As a member of the Senior Management Team the Head of Training/Internal Technical Advisor will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for organising and delivering training to the instructor team as well as ensuring that NGB guidelines are being followed in line with best practice and company standard operating procedures. This is a full-time (45 hours per week) demanding role which would require extensive travel to/from our six centres. A suitable vehicle will be provided for such use. The position would suit candidates with a wide knowledge of the outdoor industry in a residential environment operating within the commercial sector.
Applicants must have a working knowledge of AALS and LOTC inspection regimes. At a minimum applicants must be MIA assessed (or have assessment booked before December 2018) and will be expected to hold some of or all of the following professional qualifications:-
